I finished the log cabin top today, It out grew my design wall so the upper right hand border looks odd. ( No felt behind it on the right just wall ) LOL I'm going to make a few more tops before I start quilting it, about 2 months ago I had the bright idea to move my quilting frame needless to say, I took it down and haven't put it back together yet. Not ready to tackle that job. Maybe the magic quilt fairy will set it up for me tonight while I sleep!

Playing with the Logcabin blocks today, I love how the red pops! I'm going back and forth between Barn Raising or Straight Furrows . I would love to hear some of your thoughts or suggestions. My goal is to have the rest of the blocks (28) sewn by sometime tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a great week!

The weekend just flew by it's Monday already. I'm in the mood to sew just can't decide what I want to work on. These blocks are from the book "Egg Money Quilts" by Eleanor Burns. I love the repos. Maybe, I'll work on these or start a new project. (LOL ) Did I just type that? A new project..... oh boy somebody stop me! :)

No sewing on the logcabin today, I decided to finish this UFO top . It's a Thimbleberries pattern. I forgot the name ( Fence Sitting?) the one photo seems to have a few spots not sure why because there are no spots on the top. Maybe it's the lighting or my camera settings. Have a good weekend and thanks for stopping by! TGIF

Happy Valentines!

Wishing everyone a happy day! I have no big plans for the day, we went out for dinner lastnight. It was nice not having to cook. I'm still humming away on the logcabin. A few more blocks and I will be able to start playing with the layout.

Log Cabin Quilt

Log Cabin blocks are addicting, they're fun to make. Plus, there are so many different ways to arrange them. Today something happen after I changed the blade on my rotary cutter. I started cutting more strips for the Log Cabin, when I noticed all these little shreds of fabric coming from my blade. WELL..... I had accidently put two blades in the cutter. UGH, I thought my fabric was falling apart! I'll be sure to double check next time I change blades. I have 22 blocks completed.

Comments are always welcome and appreciated, any tips on pictures...... or how to make my blog more attractive? Is there a blogger 101 class?
Have a great day!
