Working On The Border

It's a cold rainy dark day. Good Excuse for staying inside and finishing up the border on this quilt. I have my list made out for tommorrow so _ _ _ _ _ _ and _ _ _ _ _ and lets not forget _ _ _ _ _! Ladies you'll be hearing from me soon ......eheheheheh. It's Friday have a great weekend everyone!

hmmmm............hehehehe...... If you guessed 4 hearts your right! I"m starting the border and running out of fabric. That means a trip to the LQS....If I see any fabric I think you might like I"ll be sure to grab some for ya! :)

Scrappy Heart #2

Hiya! Do you see me? I'm under this pile of 1 inch strips....(waving) OK....sigh... after sewing and then unsewing. I managed to get block #2 done....whew....

The fabrics are reversed.... I need two more blocks... Can I do it? I think I can... Will I stay focused? Not sure yet. Cause.....I almost rather take a rubber mallet to the head than sew another one of these blocks....heheheheh.

Scrappy Hearts

One down three to go! This log cabin style heart uses 1 inch strips. It's from Judy Martin's Log Cabin Quilt Book. I really like the hearts just not too crazy about working with these 1 inch strips....LOL It's only Tuesday? Feels like this week is gonna be a slow one.

It's Done

Quilting in the ditch and we have a finish!

Here is the topper completed. The bowl belonged to my Grandmother she use to keep candy in it for us kids. :)~ Hope you all are having a great week!

Spin Wheels

I pulled some reds thinking I would make something for Valentines. But, these aren't Valentiney fabrics.........LOL..... so.... I'm making this instead.

Spin Wheels..... One more block to make....bind it with red and it will be a table topper.

*note to self....pick up some Valentines fabric!* :)

The Glorified Nine Patch is now....two trivets. I lost interest in the runner so it's bagged and tagged for another day. It's Friday! Yippie!......hootie hootie! and a woot woot! Hope you all have a great weekend. : )~

Glorified Nine Patch

I started this table runner today. The block is a Glorified Nine Patch. this runner will be my 2nd project for January 2010. I thinking I will bind it with a green........and now that I see this photo I'm thinking.....I should've used a gold for the center square......OH well....I may redo it......LOL....decisions, decisions what's a quilter to do? : }

Spoons And Forks

It's cold so I'm spending the day working on a few projects. I made these placemats yesterday. If you would like the pattern it's here at Blank Quilting free patterns page 16. I picked up the fabric at Quilters Refuge in Decatur. She has a kit that makes two placemats. When I saw the spoons and forks fabric I had to bring it home with me. :)
