OPAM April Finishes

My Mariner's Compass wall hanging.......the pattern called for a 2 nd border....It felt done to me so I left the 2nd border out.......:)~

A wool pincushion and this needle case. The pattern is Springberries and it's by Cinderberry Stitches. This month has flown by for me.......WOW! I've had such fun seeing all the lovely things being made in blogland.......you ladies amazing and inspire me everyday!! Thank you ALL! :)~ OK so now I'm going to share something embarrassing ..... I woke up sometime during the night couldn't sleep.......tossed and turned. I felt thirsty......so I got out of bed to have a drink of water.......when returning to bed......(wasn't wearing my glasses) I thought my bedside table was my bedpillow .......so you guessed it.......I plopped myself down on the floor cashing my head against the table.. OMG the pain was awful ! My right cheek is swollen and I have a lump on my head..Ouch Ouch and double Ouch!....it hurts.........Lesson learned.......I will always feel for the mattress before sitting myself down.... Playing With Thread

This table topper needs to be quilted..... I feel like playing around with thread relaxing just having fun..... (no pressure to be perfect) trying to be creative and enjoying the process!! Hope you all are having a great week!

Sock Monkey

Let's make a Sock Monkey!! Yippee! OK.....hmmmm......I get a little farther along than my photo. When, I notice one arm has been sewn inside out......RATS........the thread blends so well it's going to be hard to frog out the stitches.......rippit .......rippit!

I want to jog this trail!

This is what I see on my daily walks.....:)~

I go for a walk everyday on a trail near the golf course....This is suppose to be a running trail....sorry to say I can't run or even jog around the trail ......(yet).........I have set a goal for myself and with time I should be able too do it.........I wanna jog this trail!!

Hexagons

Wishing Everyone a Happy Easter weekend! I've been working on these hexagons.......I have always admired Grandmothers Flower Garden quilts. This is my attempt so far....My finger tips are sore but, I'm sure they will toughen up over time.....LOL This is a start........ just a few more zillion hexies to go.......heheheheh
