BRRRRRrrrrrrr, It's cold. Hope everyone is staying warm! Tommorrow, I have to go out for some quilt batting. I want to get the 4-patch furrows loaded so I can get started quilting it.....OOohh my a trip to the LQS whats a girl to do! This is what I've been working on not sure what it will be when it's finished. Also,,,,ugh I've been trying so hard to English paper piece hexagons.....the papers and my fingers are not cooperating... those papers are slippery little suckers!! :) Have great weekend!
Happy Stitching,

Hi Shar,
have you tried the American piecing way to do hexagons...
have a look at the Hex quilt-along blog in my side bar, I wrote up a tutorial for it,, you might find that easier..

I always cut my hexagons from freezer paper and iron them onto the fabric as I had the same problem as you. They don't move when I'm basting the edges. Bit of a pain cutting all the papers though when you can get them ready cut.
